Dr. Prateek Shrivastava was born to Late Mr. Narendra Narayan Shrivastava, a distinguished senior government official, renowned poet, and writer, and Mrs. Manorama Shrivastava. Raised in Madhya Pradesh, he grew up in an intellectually rich environment that inspired his lifelong passion for education, literature, and public service. His academic journey reflects a rare combination of law, economics, and media studies, culminating in a Ph.D. in Economics from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore. His doctoral research, titled "Role of Cooperative Credit and Marketing Committees in the Income and Employment of the Bhil Tribe, with Special Reference to Barwani District," focused on the socio-economic development of tribal communities through cooperative institutions. This multidisciplinary educational foundation has shaped his balanced, research-oriented perspective and established him as a respected journalist, editor, academician, and public intellectual.
