Print Media Journey

Dr. Prateek Shrivastava began his journalism career in print media in 1980 and built a strong reputation through his editorial excellence and leadership. He started as a Sub Editor at Swadesh (1980–1983), followed by his role as News Editor at Dainik Bhaskar (1984–1989).

Between 1990 and 1998, he served at Choutha Sansar, where he held key leadership positions including Executive Editor, Chief Editor, and Chief General Manager. During this period, he earned widespread recognition for his editorial leadership, political reporting, newsroom management, and strategic editorial planning.

Television & Electronic Media

Moving into television journalism in 1999, Dr. Shrivastava held several prestigious Editor-in-Chief positions. His leadership journey includes See TV (1999–2001), BTV (2002–2005), Digi Cable / Raj News (2006–2007), Sadhna News (2008–2015), Sanjha Lokswami TV (2015–2016), and SR News (2017–2018).

At Sadhna News, he directed extensive election coverage across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh while anchoring several flagship political discussion programmes. His analytical approach and credible reporting established him as one of Central India's most respected television journalists.

2018 - Present

Digiana News Group

Since September 2018, Dr. Prateek Shrivastava has been serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Digiana News Group. He oversees editorial policy, newsroom operations, investigative reporting, and content strategy across the organization.

He also anchors popular current affairs programmes including Bada Sawaal and Digiana Vishesh, while mentoring young journalists and promoting ethical, fact-based journalism.
